Detectives at the National Portrait Gallery

Willow class really enjoyed their visit to the National Portrait Gallery last Tuesday.

They took part in a workshop about the migration stories of different people who have come to the UK, which saw them pretending to be detectives searching for clues in the galleries to discover facts about these people's amazing lives.

Here are some of their thoughts on the experience.

Esha:   I liked how we got to know different people and what they have been through in the past.

Nainsi:   I loved the paintings that had a little bit of history in them. I also really enjoyed talking to the adults at the gallery.

Giovanna:   I really enjoyed spending time together looking at art as a community.

Khadijah:   I loved the trip to the National Portrait Gallery because we got to be detectives and looked for clues about portraits, migrants and their jobs.
