We couldn't be more proud of our girls' and boys' football teams for both winning the Camden South League this season.

As far as we can tell, this is the first time our girls' team has ever won the division and it marks the brilliant culmination of what has been a three-year project to promote girls' football. Most of this squad have been playing for the school since Year 4 and they have come so far in that time.

Our boys' team is a young one and we thought this would be a 'learning season'. But, wow, they have blown us away! Winning the league with a squad that only contained two Year 6 children was a brilliant achievement and we can't wait to see how they push on even further next year.

At the Camden Finals, both teams represented the school fantastically. The boys even came away with a superb medal for winning the 3rd place playoff game.

Lifting the trophies was a joyful moment. Huge congratulations to both teams - you will go down in Christ Church history.
