Cedar Class Build the World
Cedar Class enjoyed a visit to the Natural History Museum on Thursday.
They took part in the ‘Lego: Build the World’ workshop, which saw them select a sustainability challenge to respond to based on real-world case studies and research pioneered by Museum scientists.
They then used their imagination to build solutions to challenges presented to them. At the end of the session, I asked them to make links between their experience and our school’s Christian values. Here were some the answers offered up:
“We thought about community when we had to design a world for everyone to live in."
"We had to show reconciliation if we fell out with each other and if we disagreed.”
“There was endurance when the lego building got tricky.”
“We created a better environment out of Lego for the humans and the animals to live in.”
